Trout Fishing with the 1/8oz Pink Ripper Spinner 🎣

When you are trout fishing you know that changing spinner (or lure) presentations to help entice a bite may be crucial to not end up skunked… That was the case on this day (2) weeks ago when I was fishing a local waterway for sea run cutthroat trout. First cast - no action, second cast - no action, the third cast I landed about 10ft out from me. (I could visibly see the spinner) all it took was (2) full cranks over on the Mitchell spinning reel & I was hooked up with this lighting bolt. It ran twice & jumped a few times. Put up a great battle on a 5’6” Light Ugly Stik & made some amazing jerky on the Big Chief Smoker. If you are having a hard time catching trout on spinners I recommend changing color presentations often, slowing your retrieve if possible, cover a lot of water & check your knots often.
